Whilst down at Outlook a couple of weeks ago, I caught up with Croatian writer ‘Menik’ and captured these flicks from his sketchbook. Unfortunately my camera ran out of battery shortly after, so the rest of the festival wasn’t documented.

The other day I came across the American artist Jeff Proctor. His unique style immediately caught my eye and led me to a further exploration of his works. His website shows a wide variety of his illustrations and I have included some of my favourite here. Proctor’s style is incredibly versatile and varies from out-of-this-world psychedelic illusions to more commercial work he has done for brands. Some of these brands include Gatorade, Burton and Foot Locker.

This video’s style and well crafted editing effectively demonstrates the intuitive and skilful process of producing this product.

I recently stumbled across Jake Strangel‘s portfolio, a photographer based in San Fransisco. I was taken back by his enormous body of work, which has been built up over the years by working with like-minded clients such as, iD, Monocle Magazine, Nike, Wall Street Journal, Burton Snowboards and the Museum of Contemporary Craft.
